THE 2017 EXCHANGE CLUB OF LAKE HIGHLANDS OKTOBERFEST PRODUCED A NET PROFIT OF $101,324 COMPARED TO $73,084 IN
2016 , AN INCREASE OF 38%!
A REPORT FROM TODD BOWEN, CHAIRMAN OF OKTOBERFEST–
Lake Highlands Oktoberfest was held September 30th at Flag Pole Hill. We experienced another record year setting new marks for attendance, sales and revenue. Over 9000 people helped us reach ticket and wristband sales of over $208,000. Those sales in addition to the sponsorship income allowed ECLH to generate over $101,000 in net income after subtracting the event’s expenses.
I would like to thank the Oktoberfest committee – Patrick Brown, Tyler Deneault, Tate Gorman, Doug Hale, Eric Holmes, Mark Holmes, Jeff Jacobie, Adam Meierhofer, Chad Redell and Carlin Volkmer. Without their efforts and time commitment this event would not have been near the success it was.
Jeff Jacobie will be taking over as Oktoberfest Chair for 2018. Look forward to seeing everyone at 2018 Lake Highlands Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oktober 6, 2018.
