Last Friday 4/5 at the KayCee we heard from native and lifelong Dallasite Brenna (BJ) Elliott, urban historian, preservationist, founder of the Dallas History Guild, and member of the Dallas County Historical Commission, give a presentation about “1957 ON EASTON ROAD” detailing some local East Dallas and Lake Highlands history. Ms. Elliott was joined by a mystery guest who gave us some unique insights into Lake Highland’s history and how her grandfather helped influence the beginnings of this great community.
